Parking/Reverse Sensors

Thanks to the MetaSystem parking sensors, obstructions are no longer a danger when you manoeuvre your car. This safeguards the vehicle, the obstacles and particularly any bystanders behind the car. The driver is warned of any obstructions by means of acoustic signals and warning lights. The discomforts that drivers are increasingly forced to face are:

- Chaotic traffic
- Constructions obstructing the thoroughfare and obstacles
- Too many vehicles
- Lack of space when manoeuvring and parking

All this plus the delicate bumpers now mounted and often painted the same colour as the car. Burning and highly topical problems that MetaSystem has long-since faced with an intelligent answer thanks to their parking sensors

	Operation In MetaSystem parking sensors, sound waves (ultrasounds) are reflected when they encounter an obstacle. These waves are transmitted and received by the ultrasonic sensors installed on the bumper or at the sides of the number plate, depending on the model selected. The distance of the obstacle from the car is calculated and signaled by calculating the time elapses between emission of a wave train and its reception. The acoustic and optical signals begin in an intermittent way and increase in frequency as the car nears the obstacle until becoming continuous.
	SR2 - Parking detector with 2 sensors to install on the bumper. The two ultrasound sensors to mount on the bumper are automatically activated when the reverse gear is engaged. A buzzer installed in the passenger compartment indicates the distance from any obstructions behind the vehicle. Also available in the version with 24V power supply and 13m. extension for the buzzer or for DISPLAY 2 to allow the driver to easily check the signals. DISPLAY 2 (optional) also has a warning light that indicates the position of the obstacle in relation to the car. Dedicated support brackets (optional) allow the sensors to be installed on industrial vehicles with non-standard bumpers.
