Thanks to the MetaSystem parking sensors, obstructions are no longer a danger when you manoeuvre your car. This safeguards the vehicle, the obstacles and particularly any bystanders behind the car. The driver is warned of any obstructions by means of acoustic signals and warning lights. The discomforts that drivers are increasingly forced to face are:

Operation
In MetaSystem parking sensors, sound waves (ultrasounds) are reflected when they encounter an obstacle. These waves are transmitted and received by the ultrasonic sensors installed on the bumper or at the sides of the number plate, depending on the model selected.
The distance of the obstacle from the car is calculated and signaled by calculating the time elapses between emission of a wave train and its reception. The acoustic and optical signals begin in an intermittent way and increase in frequency as the car nears the obstacle until becoming continuous.

The sensor has ultra wide detection capabilities that senses an extra wide angle of 160 degrees horizontally and 60 degrees vertically. This technology increases the detection angle up to 100% compared with other conventional systems. The micro sized sensors are designed to blend into all cars with it's small size and adaptability to curved bumpers.
