Why install an alarm when there is already a factory-fitted anti-theft device?
The standard anti-theft devices does not protect the inside of the vehicle, thereby leaving thieves with the opportunity of stealing personal items, car stereos, telephones and so on. Thieves can try neutralizing the original anti-theft device without being disturbed, whereas with an alarm system any attempted break-in will be detected before they get to work. The siren and pager (beep alarm) are activated before any attempt at sabotage, and thieves will lose precious time in trying to neutralize them.
